Rare, double-sized, punch-decorated footwarmer. Branded H. Ladd and pictured in Mary Earle Gould's book Antique Tin and Tole Ware: It's History and Romance (pub.: Chas. E. Tuttle Co., Inc., 1957). Late 18th century.

Very fine and elaborate punched tin heart-shaped drainer mold, with hanging ring. American 1840-50. For making TSIERKASE or "pressed egg" cheese. 15" high, three point stars punched inside mold. See Linda Campbell Franklin book on "Kitchen" p 217.
