Jannette Kirtland Sampler Detail

Sampler depicts a town scene, probably main street of either Essex or Saybrook, with four houses of different sizes each with brick foundations, and three different trees (one evergreen, two flowering). The center house is larger, with two chimneys; two houses are closely abutting each other, each with one chimey, with a blue bird perched on each. The fourth house is a saltbox style.
