Tall Redware Jars

10.25" tall, 6.25" diam, c 1840, CT origin. Strong manganese splotches, medium red ground, no rim chips; a couple of "micro dings", strong overall condition. 8" tall, 5.5" diam c 1830, Maine origin redware rarity: manganese splotches, no rim chips, excellent condition. Rich, attractive red coloring. NOTE: lighter vertical streaks are reflected light, not in the glaze. The two jars make a fine couple!
